    Small stoneware horse brooch, slipdecorated and glazed in shades of black or rust and white. Details such as dots and eyes are slightly embossed. It was shaped in my studio by pressing the wet clay into a plaster mould, then carefully doing the last finishing moments of cutting, decorating, firing and glazing. Size is 3 x 5 cm (about 1 x 2 in). The brooch has a silverplated pin glued on to the unglazed backside.
